Reactor for the trader with a defined method

Turn your method into a process you can research and run

You have a way of working: you know what you're looking for, which conditions justify an entry, and how you want to manage a trade. Some decisions rest on clear rules, and some on your experience and judgment.

Reactor is a trading operating system that lets you translate that way of working into instructions, research it with data, and run Agents that analyze, decide and execute within the frame you defined.

You can start from one part of the method — detection, the entry decision or position management — and connect the steps later. You can use ready-made prompt examples and adapt them to your approach.

The examples below show a few ways to use the system.

EXAMPLE 1

Translate your method into instructions an Agent can run

"I know how I trade, but not everything is written down as exact rules."

Start from the way you examine an opportunity: what must be true, what strengthens the idea, what rules it out, and in which situations you prefer to wait.

In the instructions you can separate binding limits from considerations the Agent should weigh. For example, a risk limit can be fixed, while the quality of the entry is assessed through several data points.

Binding limits
For example, a fixed risk limit
Considerations to weigh
For example, entry quality across several data points
WHAT YOU'LL SEE
A description of a method in your own words, the instructions built from it, and a test run showing how the Agent interpreted them.
Questions that may come up
Do I have to define every decision as a hard rule?
You can define principles, priorities and limits, and leave the Agent room for judgment.
How do I make sure it understood what I meant?
Run representative cases and check the data, the reasoning and the decisions. Cases where it acts differently from you help sharpen the instructions.
Can I start from an existing prompt?
Yes. Ready-made examples can serve as a base; then you adapt the data, the approach and the permissions.
✓ HOW WILL I KNOW I GOT IT?
You can tell apart what the Agent must do from the places where it's allowed to use judgment.

EXAMPLE 2

Detect your method's opportunities on a regular basis

"I repeat the same scans and checks before every trade."

You can set up a detection Agent that scans the market and returns the cases that match your method's conditions. Each result comes with the information needed for the next step.

You can save the instructions and run the scan at set times. That creates both a list of trading candidates and a foundation for collecting research data.

Method conditions
Scheduled scan
Candidate + data for the next step
WHAT YOU'LL SEE
A scan by your method's conditions, the range of assets checked, and the output for one opportunity.
Questions that may come up
Can I combine several conditions?
Yes, depending on the data and tools available in the chosen market.
How do you avoid confusing a closed candle with one still forming?
Define explicitly which candles you work on, and check the data timestamps in the output.
Does the detection Agent also need to buy?
You can separate spotting an opportunity from the buy decision, and give each step its own role.
✓ HOW WILL I KNOW I GOT IT?
You can explain what makes an asset a candidate, and what information is still needed before an entry decision.
03
EXAMPLE 3

Research the opportunity before adding a filter

"I want to know what happens after my conditions show up."

Start by collecting occurrences of the defined pattern. With the candle tools you can replay price movement after each signal: the move in the trade's favor and against it, the time to target, and the behavior after the entry point.

The research lets you examine the opportunity itself before adding an Agent that decides which cases to buy.

In a real example, a Mapper detected Bullish Engulfing every four hours. Checking the movement after the signals led to choosing a 3% stop-loss and a 4.5% profit target. Then a Buyer that buys all the signals was run, to collect results.

As of preparing this example, by the measurement provided, 800 trades closed with a 65% win rate. The win rate is one part of the evaluation, alongside the size of wins and losses, costs, and the period measured.

WHAT YOU'LL SEE
A signal, the price replay after it, and a comparison across several cases that explains how the targets were decided.
Questions that may come up
Why not let AI filter from the start?
Separating the steps lets you learn what characterizes the opportunity, and then check whether filtering adds value.
Can I test several entry and exit points?
You can build tests from the available data, with a consistent definition of the conditions and of how you measure.
How do you avoid changing the method just to fit results you've already seen?
Define the change and record it, then check how it behaves on additional cases and periods.
✓ HOW WILL I KNOW I GOT IT?
You can state what the research teaches about the opportunity itself, and what still needs testing at the decision step.
04
EXAMPLE 4

Give the Buyer judgment, and test what it adds

"I have signals, but I don't want to take every opportunity."

You can give a decision Agent the information from detection and instruct it to assess the quality of the trade: market context, entry conditions, risk, and factors that contradict the idea.

The Agent can decide to buy, wait or skip. You can compare different approaches or different models on the same cases.

BuyWaitSkip
WHAT YOU'LL SEE
The same opportunity assessed through several approaches, with the reasoning for each decision and a later comparison of results.
Questions that may come up
How do you know the filter improves the method?
Check both the trades taken and the opportunities rejected, and the filter's effect on the overall result.
Is a higher win rate enough?
You also need to check how many opportunities were left, the size of wins and losses, and the costs.
Can I keep the decision with me?
Yes. You can get an analysis and a suggestion, require approval, or set it to continue automatically.
✓ HOW WILL I KNOW I GOT IT?
You can explain which considerations the Buyer filters by, and how you'll measure whether it adds value.

EXAMPLE 5

Turn a decision into an execution plan

"I want the entry to follow my method's allocation, prices and protections."

Reactor lets you translate the trade plan into orders. You can set a single or staged entry, different allocations, loss protection and profit targets, depending on what the account and the asset support.

In the relevant execution path you can review a preview before the orders are sent.

WHAT YOU'LL SEE
An entry decision, the trade plan, and the orders created from it, including quantities and prices.
Questions that may come up
Can I allocate by amount or by percentage?
You can define allocations according to the supported tools and the information available in the account.
Can it execute only when price reaches a certain condition?
You can use supported orders and entry conditions. We'll show the right way to execute for your case.
What happens if data essential for execution is missing?
You need to define the data requirements and check how the path handles missing or invalid data.
✓ HOW WILL I KNOW I GOT IT?
You can check that the orders created match your intent and the risk you defined.
06
EXAMPLE 6

Test trade management separately from the entry

"My entries are good, but I think my exits are hurting the result."

You can give position management a role of its own. An Agent can check protections, consider partial profit-taking, lock in profit, or leave part of the position for further movement.

Using the trade records and price replay, you can research how management affected the result: what was taken, what stayed open, and what happened after the exit.

Checking protectionsPartial take-profitLocking in profitRoom for further movement
WHAT YOU'LL SEE
One trade with its sequence of management actions, then a comparison across several cases.
Questions that may come up
Can I separate who buys from who manages?
Yes. Each Agent can get the right role, instructions and authority.
Does management have to be fixed?
You can combine binding rules with judgment, and check how the Agent actually behaves.
How do you know whether partial profit-taking or moving the protection helps?
Examine their effect over a series of trades, including the profit kept, the losses, and the move left after the exit.
✓ HOW WILL I KNOW I GOT IT?
You can identify which management change you'd like to test, and how you'll separate its effect from the quality of the entry.
07
EXAMPLE 7

Run the method as a process and improve it over time

"I want all the parts to work together, and to be able to see what needs improving."

You can connect detection, decision, execution, management and reporting. Each step's output feeds the next, and each role gets its own instructions and permissions.

The records let you go back to a specific run and check which model worked, which tools were called, what came back, what failed, and how much time and money it took. Alongside that, you look at trading performance.

WHAT YOU'LL SEE
An opportunity moving through the process, its activity report, and a point where a focused improvement can be tested.
Questions that may come up
Does everything have to run automatically?
You can start with selected steps and keep approvals where they matter to you.
How do you test a change without mixing several factors?
Record the version and change one defined component. In the comparison, also note differences in period, market conditions and trade size.
How do you find where the problem is?
Connect the data from detection, decision, execution and management. That lets you focus on the component that affected the result.
✓ HOW WILL I KNOW I GOT IT?
You can choose one part of the method to hand to an Agent, define its authority, and decide how you'll evaluate the results.
